Devarim

61 These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on that side of the Jordan in the desert, in the plain opposite the Red Sea, between Paran and Tofel and Lavan and Hazeroth and Di Zahav. Devarim 1:1

52 It is eleven days journey from Horeb by way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea. Devarim 1:2

55 It came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first of the month, that Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the Lord had commanded him regarding them; Devarim 1:3

40 After he had smitten Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og, king of the Bashan, who dwelt in Ashtaroth in Edrei. Devarim 1:4

53 On that side of the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses commenced and explained this Law, saying, Devarim 1:5

40 The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Devarim 1:6

53 Turn and journey, and come to the mountain of the Amorites and to all its neighboring places, in the plain, on the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the south and by the seashore, the land of the Canaanites, and the Lebanon, until the great river, the Euphrates River. Devarim 1:7

59 See, I have set the land before you; come and possess the land which the Lord swore to your forefathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them and their descendants after them. Devarim 1:8

40 And I said to you at that time, saying, I cannot carry you alone. Devarim 1:9

51 The Lord, your God, has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as the stars of the heavens in abundance. Devarim 1:10

45 May the Lord God of your forefathers add to you a thousandfold as many as you are, and may He bless you, as He spoke concerning you! Devarim 1:11

51 How can I bear your trouble, your burden, and your strife all by myself? Devarim 1:12

43 Prepare for yourselves wise and understanding men, known among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you. Devarim 1:13

58 And you answered me and said, The thing you have spoken is good for us to do. Devarim 1:14

55 So I took the heads of your tribes, men wise and well known, and I made them heads over you, leaders over thousands, leaders over hundreds, leaders over fifties, and leaders over tens, and officers, over your tribes. Devarim 1:15

49 And I commanded your judges at that time, saying, Hear disputes between your brothers and judge justly between a man and his brother, and between his litigant. Devarim 1:16

62 You shall not favor persons in judgment; [rather] you shall hear the small just as the great; you shall not fear any man, for the judgment is upon the Lord, and the case that is too difficult for you, bring to me, and I will hear it. Devarim 1:17

44 And I commanded you at that time all the things you should do. Devarim 1:18

56 And we journeyed from Horeb and went through all that great and fearful desert, which you saw, by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the Lord, our God, commanded us; and we came up to Kadesh barnea. Devarim 1:19

42 And I said to you, You have come to the mountain of the Amorites, which the Lord, our God, is giving us. Devarim 1:20

39 Behold, the Lord, your God, has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord, God of your fathers has spoken to you; you shall neither fear nor be dismayed. Devarim 1:21

55 And all of you approached me and said, Let us send men ahead of us so that they will search out the land for us and bring us back word by which route we shall go up, and to which cities we shall come. Devarim 1:22

43 And the matter pleased me; so I took twelve men from you, one man for each tribe. Devarim 1:23

45 And they turned and went up to the mountain, and they came to the valley of Eshkol and spied it out. Devarim 1:24

45 And they took some of the fruit of the land in their hand[s] and brought it down to us, brought us back word, and said, "The land the Lord, our God, is giving us is good." Devarim 1:25

45 But you did not want to go up, and you rebelled against the commandment of the Lord, your God. Devarim 1:26

49 You murmured in your tents and said, '"Because the Lord hates us, He took us out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand[s] of the Amorites to exterminate us." Devarim 1:27

52 Where shall we go up? Our brothers have discouraged us, saying, A people greater and taller than we; cities great and fortified up to the heavens, and we have even seen the sons of Anakim there. Devarim 1:28

47 And I said to you, Do not be broken or afraid of them. Devarim 1:29

48 The Lord, your God, Who goes before you He will fight for you, just as He did for you in Egypt before your very eyes, Devarim 1:30

60 And in the desert, where you have seen how the Lord, your God, has carried you as a man carries his son, all the way that you have gone, until you have come to this place. Devarim 1:31

51 But regarding this matter, you do not believe the Lord, your God, Devarim 1:32

60 Who goes before you on the way, to search out a place for you, in which to encamp, in fire at night, to enable you to see on the way you should go, and in a cloud by day. Devarim 1:33

48 And the Lord heard the sound of your words, and He became angry and swore, saying, Devarim 1:34

48 If any of these men of this evil generation sees the good land, which I swore to give your forefathers, Devarim 1:35

56 Except Caleb the son of Jephunneh he will see it, and I will give him the land he trod upon, and to his children, because he has completely followed the Lord. Devarim 1:36

44 The Lord was also angry with me because of you, saying, Neither will you go there. Devarim 1:37

48 But Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you he will go there; strengthen him, for he will cause Israel to inherit it. Devarim 1:38

35 Moreover your little ones, whom you said will be prey, and your children, who on that day did not know good and evil they will go there and I will give it to them, and they will possess it. Devarim 1:39

50 But as for you, turn yourselves around and journey into the desert by way of the Red Sea. Devarim 1:40

57 Then you answered and said to me, We have sinned against the Lord; we will go up and fight, according to all that the Lord, our God, has commanded us. So every one of you girded his weapons, and you prepared yourselves to go up to the mountain. Devarim 1:41

41 And the Lord said to me, Say to them, Neither go up nor fight, for I am not among you, lest you be struck down before your enemies. Devarim 1:42

45 So I spoke to you, but you did not listen, and you rebelled against the command of the Lord, and you acted wickedly and went up to the mountain. Devarim 1:43

54 And the Amorites, dwelling in that mountain, came out towards you and pursued you as bees do, and beat you down in Seir, as far as Hormah. Devarim 1:44

44 So you returned and wept before the Lord, but the Lord would not hear your voice, nor would he listen to you. Devarim 1:45

37 And you dwelled in Kadesh many days, as the days that you dwelled. Devarim 1:46

53 Then we turned and journeyed into the desert by way of the Red Sea, as the Lord had spoken to me, and we circled Mount Seir for many days. Devarim 2:1

40 And the Lord spoke to me, saying, Devarim 2:2

45 You have circled this mountain long enough; turn northward. Devarim 2:3

43 And command the people saying, You are about to pass through the boundary of your kinsmen, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, and they will be afraid of you. Be very careful. Devarim 2:4

49 You shall not provoke them, for I will not give you any of their land not so much as a foot step, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for an inheritance. Devarim 2:5

46 You shall buy food from them with money, that you may eat, and also water you shall buy from them with money, that you may drink. Devarim 2:6

50 For the Lord, your God, has blessed you in all the work of your hand; He knows of your walking through this great desert; these forty years that the Lord your God has been with you, you have lacked nothing. Devarim 2:7

50 And we departed from our kinsmen, the children of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, by way of the plain from Elath and from Etzion Geber, and we turned and passed through the way of the desert of Moab. Devarim 2:8

52 And the Lord said to me, Do not distress the Moabites, and do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land as an inheritance, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot as an inheritance. Devarim 2:9

48 The Emim dwelt there formerly, a great and numerous people, and tall in stature, as the Anakim; Devarim 2:10

48 They also are considered Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim. Devarim 2:11

59 And the Horites formerly dwelt in Seir, and the children of Esau were driving them out, and they exterminated them from before them and dwelt in their stead, just as the Israelites did to the land of their inheritance, which the Lord gave them. Devarim 2:12

37 Now get up and cross the brook of Zered. So we crossed the brook of Zered. Devarim 2:13

52 And the days when we went from Kadesh barnea, until we crossed the brook of Zered, numbered thirty eight years, until all the generation of the men of war expired from the midst of the camp, just as the Lord swore to them. Devarim 2:14

37 Also the hand of the Lord was upon them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp, until they were consumed. Devarim 2:15

40 So it was, when all the men of war finished dying from among the people, Devarim 2:16

38 That the Lord spoke to me saying, Devarim 2:17

43 Today you are crossing the boundary of Moab at Ar. Devarim 2:18

49 And when you approach opposite the children of Ammon, neither distress them, nor provoke them, for I will not give you of the land of the children of Ammon as an inheritance, because I have given it to the children of Lot as an inheritance. Devarim 2:19

48 It too is considered a land of Rephaim; Rephaim dwelt therein formerly, and the Ammonites call them Zamzummim. Devarim 2:20

46 A great, numerous and tall people as the Anakim, but the Lord exterminated them before them, and they drove them out and dwelt in their stead. Devarim 2:21

52 As He did to the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, when He exterminated the Horites from before them; and they drove them out and dwelt in their stead even to this day. Devarim 2:22

47 But the Avim, who dwell in open cities, up till Gaza -- the Caphtorites, who came forth of Caphtor, exterminated them, and dwelt in their stead. Devarim 2:23

50 Get up, journey, and cross the river Arnon. Behold, I have delivered into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: Begin to possess it, and provoke him to war. Devarim 2:24

42 Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you upon the nations that are under the entire heaven, who will hear reports of you and shake and be in trepidation because of you. Devarim 2:25

47 So I sent messengers from the desert of Kedemoth to Sihon, king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying, Devarim 2:26

52 Allow me to pass through your land: I will go along by the highway, I will turn neither to the right nor to the left. Devarim 2:27

41 You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give to me water for money, that I may drink; I will only pass through by my feet. Devarim 2:28

51 Just as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did for me; until I cross the Jordan to the land which the Lord our God is giving us. Devarim 2:29

53 But Sihon, king of Heshbon, did not wish to let us pass by him, for the Lord your God caused his spirit to be hardened and his heart to be obstinate, in order that He would give him into your hand, as this day. Devarim 2:30

46 And the Lord said to me, Behold I have begun to deliver Sihon and his land before you; begin to drive him out, that you may inherit his land. Devarim 2:31

47 Then Sihon went forth towards us, he and all his people, to war at Jahzah. Devarim 2:32

45 And the Lord our God delivered him to us; and we smote him and his sons and all his people. Devarim 2:33

50 And we conquered all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every city, the men, women, and the young children; we left over no survivor. Devarim 2:34

58 Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves with the spoil of the cities which we had taken. Devarim 2:35

46 From Aroer which is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and from the city that is in the valley, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too high for us: the Lord our God delivered up all before us. Devarim 2:36

55 Only to the land of the children of Ammon you came not near; all the side of the river Yabbok and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the Lord our God commanded us. Devarim 2:37

50 Then we turned and went up the way of Bashan, and Og, the king of Bashan, came forth toward us, he and all his people, to war at Edrei Devarim 3:1

51 And the Lord said to me, Do not fear him, for I have given him, all his people, and his land into your hand, and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon. Devarim 3:2

55 So the Lord, our God, delivered into our hands also Og, the king of Bashan and all his people, and we smote him until no remnant remained of him. Devarim 3:3

56 And we conquered all his cities at that time; there was not a town that we did not take from them sixty cities, all the territory of Argob the kingdom of Og in Bashan. Devarim 3:4

55 All these cities were fortified with high walls, double doors, and bolts, in addition to a great many unwalled cities. Devarim 3:5

43 And we utterly destroyed them as we did to Sihon, king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every city, the men, the women, and the young children. Devarim 3:6

51 But all the beasts and the spoils of the cities, we took as spoil for ourselves. Devarim 3:7

48 At that time we took the land out of the hands of the two kings of the Amorites who were on that side of the Jordan, from the brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon. Devarim 3:8

42 The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion; and the Amorites call it Senir. Devarim 3:9

48 All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, to Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan. Devarim 3:10

52 For only Og, king of Bashan, was left from the remnant of the Rephaim. His bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits its breadth, according to the cubit of a man. Devarim 3:11

53 And this land, which we possessed at that time; from Aro'er, which is by the brook of Arnon, and half of Mount Gilead and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites. Devarim 3:12

46 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half tribe of Manasseh; all the territory of Argob, all of Bashan; that is called the land of Rephaim. Devarim 3:13

52 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the territory of Argob to the boundaries of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and he called them, even Bashan, after his own name, villages of Jair, to this day. Devarim 3:14

38 And to Machir I gave Gilead. Devarim 3:15

45 And to the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead to the brook of Arnon, the midst of the brook and the border, until the brook of Jabbok, which is the boundary of the children of Ammon, Devarim 3:16

47 The plain, the Jordan and the border thereof, from Kinnereth to the sea of the plain the Sea of Salt, under the waterfalls of Pisgah, eastward. Devarim 3:17

48 And I commanded you at that time saying, The Lord, your God, has given you this land to possess it; pass over, armed, before your brothers, the children of Israel, all who are warriors. Devarim 3:18

44 But your wives, your young children, and your cattle for I know that you have much cattle shall dwell in your cities which I have given you, Devarim 3:19

41 Until the Lord has given rest to your brothers, just as He did for you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord, your God, is giving them on the other side of the Jordan, then every man shall return to his possession, which I have given to you. Devarim 3:20

48 Until the Lord has given rest to your brothers, just as He did for you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord, your God, is giving them on the other side of the Jordan, then every man shall return to his possession, which I have given to you. Devarim 3:21

42 Do not fear them, for it is the Lord, your God, Who is fighting for you. Devarim 3:22

39 I entreated the Lord at that time, saying, Devarim 3:23

45 O Lord God, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand, for who is like God in heaven or on earth who can do as Your deeds and Your might? Devarim 3:24

46 Pray let me cross over and see the good land that is on the other side of the Jordan, this good mountain and the Lebanon. Devarim 3:25

43 But the Lord was angry with me because of you, and He did not listen to me, and the Lord said to me, "It is enough for you; speak to Me no more regarding this matter. Devarim 3:26

54 Go up to the top of the hill and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward and see with your eyes, for you shall not cross this Jordan. Devarim 3:27

45 But command Joshua and strengthen him and encourage him, for he will cross over before this people, and he will make them inherit the land which you will see. Devarim 3:28

44 And we abided in the valley opposite Beth Peor. Devarim 3:29

59 And now, O Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the judgments which I teach you to do, in order that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord, God of your forefathers, is giving you. Devarim 4:1

47 Do not add to the word which I command you, nor diminish from it, to observe the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Devarim 4:2

45 Your eyes have seen what the Lord did at Baal Peor, for every man who went after Baal Peor, the Lord your God has exterminated from your midst. Devarim 4:3

50 But you who cleave to the Lord your God are alive, all of you, this day. Devarim 4:4

49 Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, as the Lord, my God, commanded me, to do so in the midst of the land to which you are coming to possess. Devarim 4:5

43 And you shall keep [them] and do [them], for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the eyes of the peoples, who will hear all these statutes and say, "Only this great nation is a wise and understanding people. " Devarim 4:6

46 For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is at all times that we call upon Him? Devarim 4:7

51 And which great nation is it that has just statutes and ordinances, as this entire Torah, which I set before you this day? Devarim 4:8

46 But beware and watch yourself very well, lest you forget the things that your eyes saw, and lest these things depart from your heart, all the days of your life, and you shall make them known to your children and to your children's children, Devarim 4:9

46 The day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, "Assemble the people for Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children. Devarim 4:10

50 And you approached and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire up to the midst of the heavens, with darkness, a cloud, and opaque darkness. Devarim 4:11

51 The Lord spoke to you out of the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of the words, but saw no image, just a voice. Devarim 4:12

44 And He told you His covenant, which He commanded you to do, the Ten Commandments, and He inscribed them on two stone tablets. Devarim 4:13

46 And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, so that you should do them in the land to which you are crossing, to possess. Devarim 4:14

47 And you shall watch yourselves very well, for you did not see any image on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire. Devarim 4:15

52 Lest you become corrupt and make for yourselves a graven image, the representation of any form, the likeness of male or female, Devarim 4:16

42 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the heaven, Devarim 4:17

48 The likeness of anything that crawls on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters, beneath the earth. Devarim 4:18

49 And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, which the Lord your God assigned to all peoples under the entire heaven, and be drawn away to prostrate yourselves before them and worship them. Devarim 4:19

44 But the Lord took you and brought you out of the iron crucible, out of Egypt, to be a people of His possession, as of this day. Devarim 4:20

41 And the Lord was angry with me because of you, and He swore that I would not cross the Jordan and that I would not come into the good land the Lord, your God, is giving you as an inheritance. Devarim 4:21

38 For I will die in this land; I will not cross the Jordan. You, however, will cross, and you will possess this good land. Devarim 4:22

60 Beware, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which He made with you, and make for yourselves a graven image, the likeness of anything, which the Lord your God has forbidden you. Devarim 4:23

39 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a zealous God. Devarim 4:24

51 When you beget children and children's children, and you will be long established in the land, and you become corrupt and make a graven image, the likeness of anything, and do evil in the eyes of the Lord your God, to provoke Him to anger, Devarim 4:25

47 I call as witness against you this very day the heaven and the earth, that you will speedily and utterly perish from the land to which you cross the Jordan, to possess; you will not prolong your days upon it, but will be utterly destroyed. Devarim 4:26

46 And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will remain few in number among the nations to where the Lord will lead you. Devarim 4:27

41 And there you will worship gods, man's handiwork, wood and stone, which neither see, hear, eat, nor smell. Devarim 4:28

44 And from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Devarim 4:29

54 When you are distressed, and all these things happen upon you in the end of days, then you will return to the Lord your God and obey Him. Devarim 4:30

51 For the Lord your God is a merciful God; He will not let you loose or destroy you; neither will He forget the covenant of your fathers, which He swore to them. Devarim 4:31

52 For ask now regarding the early days that were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and from one end of the heavens to the other end of the heavens, whether there was anything like this great thing, or was the likes of it heard? Devarim 4:32

37 Did ever a people hear God's voice speaking out of the midst of the fire as you have heard, and live? Devarim 4:33

54 Or has any god performed miracles to come and take him a nation from the midst of a[nother] nation, with trials, with signs, and with wonders, and with war and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great awesome deeds, as all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? Devarim 4:34

53 You have been shown, in order to know that the Lord He is God; there is none else besides Him. Devarim 4:35

48 From the heavens, He let you hear His voice to instruct you, and upon the earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire, Devarim 4:36

46 And because He loved your forefathers and chose their seed after them, and He brought you out of Egypt before Him with His great strength, Devarim 4:37

39 To drive out from before you nations greater and stronger than you, to bring you and give you their land for an inheritance, as this day. Devarim 4:38

49 And you shall know this day and consider it in your heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth below; there is none else. Devarim 4:39

55 And you shall observe His statutes and His commandments, which I command you this day, that it may be well with you and your children after you, and that you may prolong your days upon the earth which the Lord your God gives you forever. Devarim 4:40

44 Then Moses decided to separate three cities on the side of the Jordan towards the sunrise, Devarim 4:41

56 So that a murderer might flee there, he who murders his fellow man unintentionally, but did not hate him in time past, that he may flee to one of these cities, so that he might live: Devarim 4:42

45 Bezer in the desert, in the plain country of the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead of the Gadites, and Golan in the Bashan of the Menassites. Devarim 4:43

46 And this is the teaching which Moses set before the children of Israel: Devarim 4:44

58 These are the testimonies, statutes and ordinances, which Moses spoke to the children of Israel when they went out of Egypt, Devarim 4:45

47 On the side of the Jordan in the valley, opposite Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they went out of Egypt. Devarim 4:46

44 And they possessed his land and the land of Og, king of the Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were on the side of the Jordan, towards the sunrise, Devarim 4:47

44 From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, to Mount Sion, which is Hermon, Devarim 4:48

49 And all the plain across the Jordan eastward as far as the sea of the plain, under the waterfalls of the hill. Devarim 4:49

46 And Moses called all Israel and said to them, "Hear, O Israel, the statutes and ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, and learn them, and observe them to do them. Devarim 5:1

43 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Devarim 5:2

44 Not with our forefathers did the Lord make this covenant, but with us, we, all of whom are here alive today. Devarim 5:3

46 Face to face, the Lord spoke with you at the mountain out of the midst of the fire: Devarim 5:4

37 And I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to tell you the word of the Lord, for you were afraid of the fire, and you did not go up on the mountain saying, Devarim 5:5

43 "I am the Lord your God, Who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Devarim 5:6

39 You shall not have the gods of others in My presence. Devarim 5:7

44 You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness which is in the heavens above, which is on the earth below, or which is in the water beneath the earth. Devarim 5:8

49 You shall not prostrate yourself before them, nor worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a zealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me. Devarim 5:9

58 And I perform loving kindness to thousands of generations of those who love Me and to those who keep My commandments. Devarim 5:10

46 You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not hold blameless anyone who takes His name in vain. Devarim 5:11

41 Six days may you work, and perform all your labor, Devarim 5:13

57 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall perform no labor, neither you, your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, your ox, your donkey, any of your livestock, nor the stranger who is within your cities, in order that your manservant and your maidservant may rest like you. Devarim 5:14

50 And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord your God took you out from there with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm; therefore, the Lord, your God, commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. Devarim 5:15

50 Honor your father and your mother as the Lord your God commanded you, in order that your days be lengthened, and that it may go well with you on the land that the Lord, your God, is giving you. Devarim 5:16

39 You shall not murder. And you shall not commit adultery. And you shall not steal. And you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Devarim 5:17

42 And you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor shall you desire your neighbor's house, his field, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Devarim 5:18

45 The Lord spoke these words to your entire assembly at the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the opaque darkness, with a great voice, which did not cease. And He inscribed them on two stone tablets and gave them to me. Devarim 5:19

60 And it was, when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, and the mountain was burning with fire, that you approached me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders. Devarim 5:20

48 And you said, "Behold, the Lord, our God, has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we heard His voice from the midst of the fire; we saw this day that God speaks with man, yet man remains alive. Devarim 5:21

44 So now, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we continue to hear the voice of the Lord, our God, anymore, we will die. Devarim 5:22

46 For who is there of all flesh, who heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? Devarim 5:23

35 You approach, and hear all that the Lord, our God, will say, and you speak to us all that the Lord, our God, will speak to you, and we will hear and do. Devarim 5:24

44 And the Lord heard the sound of your words when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, "I have heard the sound of the words of this people that they have spoken to you; they have done well in all that they have spoken. Devarim 5:25

41 Would that their hearts be like this, to fear Me and to keep all My commandments all the days, that it might be well with them and with their children forever! Devarim 5:26

41 Go say to them, 'Return to your tents.' Devarim 5:27

42 But as for you, stand here with Me, and I will speak to you all the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances which you will teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess. Devarim 5:28

43 Keep them to perform [them] as the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside either to the right or to the left. Devarim 5:29

48 In all the way which the Lord, your God, has commanded you, you shall go, in order that you may live and that it may be well with you, and so that you may prolong your days in the land you will possess. Devarim 5:30

41 This is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances that the Lord, your God, commanded to teach you, to perform in the land into which you are about to pass, to possess it. Devarim 6:1

49 In order that you fear the Lord, your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments that I command you, you, your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life, and in order that your days may be lengthened. Devarim 6:2

52 And you shall, therefore, hearken, O Israel, and be sure to perform, so that it will be good for you, and so that you may increase exceedingly, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, spoke to you, a land flowing with milk and honey. Devarim 6:3

51 Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is one. Devarim 6:4

60 And you shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your means. Devarim 6:5

42 And these words, which I command you this day, shall be upon your heart. Devarim 6:6

46 And you shall teach them to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk on the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up. Devarim 6:7

41 And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for ornaments between your eyes. Devarim 6:8

47 And you shall inscribe them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates. Devarim 6:9

52 And it will be, when the Lord, your God, brings you to the land He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and good cities that you did not build, Devarim 6:10

53 And houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and hewn cisterns that you did not hew, vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant, and you will eat and be satisfied. Devarim 6:11

47 Beware, lest you forget the Lord, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Devarim 6:12

36 You shall fear the Lord, your God, worship Him, and swear by His name. Devarim 6:13

40 Do not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who are around you. Devarim 6:14

41 For the Lord, your God, is a zealous God among you, lest the wrath of the Lord, your God, be kindled against you, and destroy you off the face of the earth. Devarim 6:15

37 You shall not try the Lord, your God, as you tried Him in Massah. Devarim 6:16

43 Diligently keep the commandments of the Lord, your God, and His testimonies. and His statutes, which He has commanded you. Devarim 6:17

40 And you shall do what is proper and good in the eyes of the Lord, in order that it may be well with you, and that you may come and possess the good land which the Lord swore to your forefathers, Devarim 6:18

47 To drive out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken. Devarim 6:19

39 If your son asks you in time to come, saying, "What are the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the Lord our God has commanded you?" Devarim 6:20

37 You shall say to your son, "We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord took us out of Egypt with a strong hand. Devarim 6:21

51 And the Lord gave signs and wonders, great and terrible, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes. Devarim 6:22

34 And he brought us out of there, in order that He might bring us and give us the land which He swore to our fathers. Devarim 6:23

41 And the Lord commanded us to perform all these statutes, to fear the Lord, our God, for our good all the days, to keep us alive, as of this day. Devarim 6:24

40 And it will be for our merit that we keep to observe all these commandments before the Lord, our God, as He has commanded us." Devarim 6:25

52 When the Lord, your God, brings you into the land to which you are coming to possess it, He will cast away many nations from before you: the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivvites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you. Devarim 7:1

40 And the Lord, your God, will deliver them to you, and you shall smite them. You shall utterly destroy them; neither shall you make a covenant with them, nor be gracious to them. Devarim 7:2

36 You shall not intermarry with them; you shall not give your daughter to his son, and you shall not take his daughter for your son. Devarim 7:3

51 For he will turn away your son from following Me, and they will worship the gods of others, and the wrath of the Lord will be kindled against you, and He will quickly destroy you. Devarim 7:4

53 But so shall you do to them: You shall demolish their altars and smash their monuments, and cut down their asherim trees, and burn their graven images with fire. Devarim 7:5

48 For you are a holy people to the Lord, your God: the Lord your God has chosen you to be His treasured people, out of all the peoples upon the face of the earth. Devarim 7:6

44 Not because you are more numerous than any people did the Lord delight in you and choose you, for you are the least of all the peoples. Devarim 7:7

54 But because of the Lord's love for you, and because He keeps the oath He swore to your forefathers, the Lord took you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Devarim 7:8

48 Know, therefore, that the Lord, your God He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps the covenant and loving kindness with those who love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations. Devarim 7:9

49 And He repays those who hate Him, to their face, to cause them to perish; He will not delay the one who hates Him, but he will repay him to his face. Devarim 7:10

41 You shall therefore, observe the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command you this day to do. Devarim 7:11

48 And it will be, because you will heed these ordinances and keep them and perform, that the Lord, your God, will keep for you the covenant and the kindness that He swore to your forefathers. Devarim 7:12

58 And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your soil, your grain, your wine, and your oil, the offspring of your cattle and the choice of your flocks, in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you. Devarim 7:13

45 You shall be blessed above all peoples: There will be no sterile male or barren female among you or among your livestock. Devarim 7:14

43 And the Lord will remove from you all illness, and all of the evil diseases of Egypt which you knew, He will not set upon you, but He will lay them upon all your enemies. Devarim 7:15

40 And you shall consume all the peoples which the Lord your God gives you; you shall not spare them, nor shall you worship their gods, for that will be a snare for you. Devarim 7:16

35 Will you say to yourself, "These nations are more numerous than I; how will I be able to drive them out"? Devarim 7:17

42 You shall not fear them. You shall surely remember what the Lord, your God, did to Pharaoh and to all of Egypt: Devarim 7:18

56 The great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm with which the Lord, your God, brought you out. So will the Lord, Your God, do to all the peoples you fear. Devarim 7:19

51 And also the tzir'ah, the Lord, your God, will incite against them, until the survivors and those who hide from you perish. Devarim 7:20

38 You shall not be terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, Who is in your midst, is a great and awesome God. Devarim 7:21

47 And the Lord, your God, will drive out those nations from before you, little by little. You will not be able to destroy them quickly, lest the beasts of the field outnumber you. Devarim 7:22

45 But the Lord, your God, will deliver them to you, and He will confound them with great confusion, until they are destroyed. Devarim 7:23

41 And He will deliver their kings into your hand, and you will destroy their name from beneath the heavens; no man will be able to stand up before you, until you have destroyed them. Devarim 7:24

49 The graven images of their gods you will burn with fire; you shall not covet the silver or gold that is upon them and take it for yourself, lest you be ensnared by it, for it is an abomination to the Lord, your God. Devarim 7:25

44 Nor should you bring an abomination into your house, lest you are to be destroyed like it, but you shall utterly detest it, and you shall utterly abhor it; for it is to be destroyed. Devarim 7:26

41 Every commandment that I command you this day you shall keep to do, that you may live and multiply, and come and possess the land that the Lord swore to your forefathers. Devarim 8:1

42 And you shall remember the entire way on which the Lord, your God, led you these forty years in the desert, in order to afflict you to test you, to know what is in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. Devarim 8:2

46 And He afflicted you and let you go hungry, and then fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your forefathers know, so that He would make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but rather by, whatever comes forth from the mouth of the Lord does man live. Devarim 8:3

40 Your clothing did not wear out upon you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. Devarim 8:4

35 You shall know in your heart, that just as a man chastises his son, so does the Lord, your God, chastise you. Devarim 8:5

38 And you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to go in His ways, and to fear Him. Devarim 8:6

46 For the Lord your God is bringing you to a good land, a land with brooks of water, fountains and depths, that emerge in valleys and mountains, Devarim 8:7

46 A land of wheat and barley, vines and figs and pomegranates, a land of oil producing olives and honey, Devarim 8:8

49 A land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, you will lack nothing in it, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains you will hew copper. Devarim 8:9

41 And you will eat and be sated, and you shall bless the Lord, your God, for the good land He has given you. Devarim 8:10

48 Beware that you do not forget the Lord, your God, by not keeping His commandments, His ordinances, and His statutes, which I command you this day, Devarim 8:11

45 Lest you eat and be sated, and build good houses and dwell therein, Devarim 8:12

52 And your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold increase, and all that you have increases, Devarim 8:13

47 And your heart grows haughty, and you forget the Lord, your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, Devarim 8:14

42 Who led you through that great and awesome desert, in which were snakes, vipers and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought water for you out of solid rock, Devarim 8:15

39 Who fed you with manna in the desert, which your forefathers did not know, in order to afflict you and in order to test you, to benefit you in your end, Devarim 8:16

37 And you will say to yourself, "My strength and the might of my hand that has accumulated this wealth for me." Devarim 8:17

45 But you must remember the Lord your God, for it is He that gives you strength to make wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your forefathers, as it is this day. Devarim 8:18

39 And it will be, if you forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, and worship them, and prostrate yourself before them, I bear witness against you this day, that you will surely perish. Devarim 8:19

38 As the nations that the Lord destroys before you, so will you perish; since you will not obey the Lord your God. Devarim 8:20

56 Hear, O Israel: Today, you are crossing the Jordan to come in to possess nations greater and stronger than you, great cities, fortified up to the heavens. Devarim 9:1

36 A great and tall people, the children of the 'Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard said, "Who can stand against the children of 'Anak?!" Devarim 9:2

54 You shall know this day, that it is the Lord your God Who passes over before you as a consuming fire He will destroy them, and He will subdue them before you; and you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord spoke to you. Devarim 9:3

50 Do not say to yourself, when the Lord, your God, has repelled them from before you, saying, "Because of my righteousness, the Lord has brought me to possess this land," and that because of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord drives them out from before you. Devarim 9:4

48 Not because of your righteousness or because of the honesty of your heart, do you come to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and in order to establish the matter that the Lord swore to your forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Devarim 9:5

48 You shall know that, not because of your righteousness, the Lord, your God, gives you this land to possess it; for you are a stiffnecked people. Devarim 9:6

40 Remember do not forget, how you angered the Lord, your God, in the desert; from the day that you went out of the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebelling against the Lord. Devarim 9:7

38 At Horeb, you angered the Lord, and the Lord was incensed with you to destroy you. Devarim 9:8

46 When I ascended the mountain to receive the stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant which the Lord made with you, I remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water; Devarim 9:9

47 And the Lord gave me two stone tablets, inscribed by the finger of God, and on them was inscribed according to all the words that the Lord spoke with you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. Devarim 9:10

42 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the Lord gave me two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant. Devarim 9:11

46 And the Lord said to me, "Arise, descend quickly from here, for your people whom you have brought out of Egypt have become corrupt; they have quickly deviated from the way which I commanded them; they have made for themselves a molten image." Devarim 9:12

48 And the Lord spoke to me further, saying, "I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people. Devarim 9:13

42 Leave Me alone, and I will destroy them and obliterate their name from beneath the heavens, and I will make you into a nation mightier and more numerous than they." Devarim 9:14

51 So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire, and the two tablets of the covenant were on my two hands. Devarim 9:15

55 And I saw, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord, your God; you had made yourselves a molten calf; you had deviated quickly from the way which the Lord had commanded you. Devarim 9:16

54 So I grasped the two tablets, cast them out of my two hands, and shattered them before your eyes. Devarim 9:17

49 And I fell down before the Lord as before, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sins you had committed, by doing evil in the eyes of the Lord to anger Him. Devarim 9:18

51 For I was frightened of the wrath and the fury that the Lord was angry with you to destroy you, and the Lord hearkened to me also at that time. Devarim 9:19

38 And with Aaron, the Lord was very furious, to destroy him; so I prayed also for Aaron at that time. Devarim 9:20

46 And I took your sin the calf, which you had made, and I burned it with fire, and I crushed it, grinding it well, until it was fine dust, and I cast its dust into the brook that descends from the mountain. Devarim 9:21

45 And at Tav'erah, and at Massah, and at Kivroth Hata'avah, you provoked the Lord to anger. Devarim 9:22

49 And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, "Go up and possess the land I have given you," you defied the word of the Lord your God, and you did not believe Him, nor did you obey Him. Devarim 9:23

37 You have been rebelling against the Lord since the day I became acquainted with you. Devarim 9:24

48 So I fell down before the Lord the forty days and the forty nights that I had fallen down; because the Lord had said to destroy you. Devarim 9:25

49 And I prayed to the Lord and said, "O Lord God, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance, which You have redeemed in Your greatness, and which You have brought out of Egypt with mighty hand. Devarim 9:26

60 Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; do not turn to the stubbornness of this people, to their wickedness, or to their sin. Devarim 9:27

45 Lest [the people of] the land from which you brought us out will say, 'Because of the Lord's inability to bring them to the land about which He spoke to them, and because of His hatred toward them, He has brought them out to slay them in the desert.' Devarim 9:28

43 But they are Your people and Your inheritance, which You brought out with Your great strength and with Your outstretched arm." Devarim 9:29

49 At that time, the Lord said to me, "Hew for yourself two stone tablets like the first ones and come up to Me onto the mountain, and make for yourself a wooden ark, Devarim 10:1

47 And I shall inscribe on the tablets the words that were upon the first tablets which you shattered and you shall place them into the ark. Devarim 10:2

39 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and I hewed two stone tablets like the first ones, and I ascended the mountain, with the two tablets in my hand." Devarim 10:3

48 And He inscribed on the tablets, like the first writing, the Ten Commandments, which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain, from the midst of the fire, on the day of the assembly, and the Lord gave them to me. Devarim 10:4

44 And I turned and came down from the mountain, and placed the tablets in the ark which I had made, and there they were, as the Lord had commanded me. Devarim 10:5

49 The children of Israel journeyed from the wells of B'nei Ya'akan to Moserah; there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son served as kohen in his stead. Devarim 10:6

43 From there, they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Yotvath, a land with streams of water. Devarim 10:7

41 At that time, the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to serve Him, and to bless in His Name, to this day. Devarim 10:8

33 Therefore, Levi has no portion or inheritance with his brothers; the Lord is his inheritance, as the Lord, your God spoke to him. Devarim 10:9

54 And I remained on the mountain like the first days forty days and forty nights, and the Lord hearkened to me also at that time; the Lord did not wish to destroy you. Devarim 10:10

54 And the Lord said to me, "Arise, go to lead the travels before the people, so that they may come and possess the land I promised their forefathers to give them. Devarim 10:11

54 And now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, demand of you? Only to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to worship the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, Devarim 10:12

41 To keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes, which I command you this day, for your good. Devarim 10:13

37 Behold, to the Lord, your God, belong the heavens and the heavens of the heavens, the earth, and all that is on it. Devarim 10:14

49 Only your forefathers the Lord desired, to love them, and He chose their seed after them you, out of all peoples, as it is this day. Devarim 10:15

44 You shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, therefore, and be no more stiffnecked. Devarim 10:16

57 For the Lord, your God, is God of gods and the Lord of the lords, the great mighty and awesome God, Who will show no favor, nor will He take a bribe. Devarim 10:17

56 He executes the judgment of the orphan and widow, and He loves the stranger, to give him bread and clothing. Devarim 10:18

38 You shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. Devarim 10:19

41 You shall fear the Lord, your God, worship Him, and cleave to Him and swear by His Name. Devarim 10:20

38 He is your praise and He is your God, Who did these great and awesome things for you, which your eyes have seen. Devarim 10:21

51 With seventy souls, Your forefathers descended to Egypt, and now the Lord, your God, has made you as the stars of heaven in abundance. Devarim 10:22

54 Therefore you shall love the Lord, your God, keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments, all the days. Devarim 11:1

49 And you shall know this day; that I speak not with your children, who did not know and who did not see the chastisement of the Lord, your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm, Devarim 11:2

40 His signs, and His deeds, which He performed in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh, king of Egypt and to his entire land, Devarim 11:3

54 And what He did to the army of Egypt, to its steeds, and to its chariots, that He caused the waters of the Red Sea to inundate them when they pursued you, and the Lord destroyed them, to this day, Devarim 11:4

41 And what He did for you in the desert, until you arrived at this place, Devarim 11:5

54 And what He did to Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, that the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up and their households and their tents, and all the possessions at their feet, in the midst of all Israel. Devarim 11:6

45 But your eyes, which have seen all the great work of the Lord, which He did. Devarim 11:7

47 Therefore keep all the commandments that I command you this day, in order that you may be strong and come and possess the land to which you are crossing, to possess it, Devarim 11:8

57 And in order that you may prolong your days on the land that the Lord swore to your forefathers to give to them and to their seed a land flowing with milk and honey. Devarim 11:9

48 For the land to which you are coming to possess is not like the land of Egypt, out of which you came, where you sowed your seed and which you watered by foot, like a vegetable garden. Devarim 11:10

49 But the land, to which you pass to possess, is a land of mountains and valleys and absorbs water from the rains of heaven, Devarim 11:11

54 A land the Lord, your God, looks after; the eyes of Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Devarim 11:12

53 And it will be, if you hearken to My commandments that I command you this day to love the Lord, your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, Devarim 11:13

43 I will give the rain of your land at its time, the early rain and the latter rain, and you will gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil. Devarim 11:14

44 And I will give grass in your field for your livestock, and you will eat and be sated. Devarim 11:15

56 Beware, lest your heart be misled, and you turn away and worship strange gods and prostrate yourselves before them. Devarim 11:16

46 And the wrath of the Lord will be kindled against you, and He will close off the heavens, and there will be no rain, and the ground will not give its produce, and you will perish quickly from upon the good land that the Lord gives you. Devarim 11:17

51 And you shall set these words of Mine upon your heart and upon your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand and they shall be for ornaments between your eyes. Devarim 11:18

54 And you shall teach them to your sons to speak with them, when you sit in your house and when you walk on the way and when you lie down and when you rise. Devarim 11:19

49 And you shall inscribe them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates, Devarim 11:20

40 In order that your days may increase and the days of your children, on the land which the Lord swore to your forefathers to give them, as the days of heaven above the earth. Devarim 11:21

59 For if you keep all these commandments which I command you to do them, to love the Lord, your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave to Him, Devarim 11:22

38 Then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will possess nations greater and stronger than you. Devarim 11:23

47 Every place upon which the soles of your feet will tread, will be yours: from the desert and the Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River, and until the western sea, will be your boundary. Devarim 11:24

45 No man will stand up before you; the Lord your God will cast the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land upon which you tread, as He spoke to you. Devarim 11:25

44 Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse. Devarim 11:26

42 The blessing, that you will heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today; Devarim 11:27

48 And the curse, if you will not heed the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn away from the way I command you this day, to follow other gods, which you did not know. Devarim 11:28

45 And it will be, when the Lord, your God, will bring you to the land to which you come, to possess it, that you shall place those blessing upon Mount Gerizim, and those cursing upon Mount Ebal. Devarim 11:29

53 Are they not on the other side of the Jordan, way beyond, in the direction of the sunset, in the land of the Canaanites, who dwell in the plain, opposite Gilgal, near the plains of Moreh? Devarim 11:30

44 For you are crossing the Jordan, to come to possess the land which the Lord, your God, is giving you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it. Devarim 11:31

43 And you shall keep to perform all the statutes and ordinances that I am setting before you today. Devarim 11:32

47 These are the statutes and ordinances that you shall keep to perform in the land which the Lord God of your fathers gives you to possess all the days that you live on the earth. Devarim 12:1

47 You shall utterly destroy from all the places where the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods, upon the lofty mountains and upon the hills, and under every lush tree. Devarim 12:2

44 And you shall tear down their altars, smash their monuments, burn their asherim with fire, cut down the graven images of their gods, and destroy their name from that place. Devarim 12:3

37 You shall not do so to the Lord, your God. Devarim 12:4

38 But only to the place which the Lord your God shall choose from all your tribes, to set His Name there; you shall inquire after His dwelling and come there. Devarim 12:5

44 And there you shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the separation by your hand, and your vows and your donations, and the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep. Devarim 12:6

48 And there you shall eat before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice in all your endeavors you and your households, as the Lord, your God, has blessed you. Devarim 12:7

37 You shall not do as all the things that we do here this day, every man doing what he deems fit. Devarim 12:8

39 For you have not yet come to the resting place or to the inheritance, which the Lord, your God, is giving you. Devarim 12:9

38 And you shall cross the Jordan and settle in the land the Lord, your God, is giving you as an inheritance, and He will give you rest from all your enemies surrounding you, and you will dwell securely. Devarim 12:10

55 And it will be, that the place the Lord, your God, will choose in which to establish His Name there you shall bring all that I am commanding you: Your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the separation by your hand, and the choice of vows which you will vow to the Lord. Devarim 12:11

54 And you shall rejoice before the Lord, your God you and your sons and your daughters and your menservants and your maidservants, and the Levite who is within your cities, for he has no portion or inheritance with you. Devarim 12:12

37 Beware, lest you offer up your burnt offerings any place you see. Devarim 12:13

42 But only in the place the Lord will choose in one of your tribes; there you shall offer up your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you. Devarim 12:14

48 However, in every desire of your soul, you may slaughter and eat meat in all your cities, according to the blessing of the Lord, your God, which He gave you; the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the deer, and as of the gazelle. Devarim 12:15

45 However, you shall not eat the blood; you shall spill it on the ground like water. Devarim 12:16

49 You may not eat within your cities the tithe of your grain, or of your wine, or of your oil, or the firstborn of your cattle or of your sheep, or any of your vows that you will vow, or your donations, or the separation by your hand. Devarim 12:17

43 But you shall eat them before the Lord, your God, in the place the Lord, your God, will choose you, your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, and the Levite who is in your cities, and you shall rejoice before the Lord, your God, in all your endeavors. Devarim 12:18

42 Beware, lest you forsake the Levite all your days upon your land. Devarim 12:19

44 When the Lord, your God, expands your boundary, as He has spoken to you, and you say, "I will eat meat," because your soul desires to eat meat, you may eat meat, according to every desire of your soul. Devarim 12:20

48 If the place the Lord, your God, chooses to put His Name there, will be distant from you, you may slaughter of your cattle and of your sheep, which the Lord has given you, as I have commanded you, and you may eat in your cities, according to every desire of your soul. Devarim 12:21

38 But as the deer and the gazelle are eaten, so may you eat them; the unclean and the clean alike may eat of them. Devarim 12:22

42 However, be strong not to eat the blood, for the blood is the soul; and you shall not eat the soul with the flesh. Devarim 12:23

38 You shall not eat it, you shall spill it on the ground, like water. Devarim 12:24

44 You shall not eat it, in order that it be good for you, and for your children after you, when you do what is proper in the eyes of the Lord. Devarim 12:25

46 However, your holy offerings which you will have, and your vows, you shall carry, and come to the place that the Lord chooses. Devarim 12:26

41 And you shall make your burnt offerings the flesh and the blood upon the altar of the Lord, your God, and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured upon the altar of the Lord, your God, and you shall eat the flesh. Devarim 12:27

49 Keep and hearken to all these words that I command you, that it may benefit you and your children after you, forever, when you do what is good and proper in the eyes of the Lord, your God. Devarim 12:28

40 When the Lord, your God cuts off the nations to which you will come to drive them out from before you, and when you drive them out and dwell in their land, Devarim 12:29

52 Beware, lest you be attracted after them, after they are exterminated from before you; and lest you inquire about their gods, saying, "How did these nations serve their gods? And I will do likewise." Devarim 12:30

37 You shall not do so to the Lord, your God; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates, they did to their gods, for also their sons and their daughters they would burn in fire to their gods. Devarim 12:31

34 Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it. Devarim 13:1

49 If there will arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, Devarim 13:2

46 and the sign or the wonder of which he spoke to you happens, and he says, "Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us worship them," Devarim 13:3

55 you shall not heed the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream; for the Lord, your God, is testing you, to know whether you really love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul. Devarim 13:4

36 You shall follow the Lord, your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, worship Him, and cleave to Him. Devarim 13:5

49 And that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death; because he spoke falsehood about the Lord, your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeemed you from the house of bondage, to lead you astray from the way in which the Lord, your God, commanded you to go; so shall you clear away the evil from your midst. Devarim 13:6

44 If your brother, the son of your mother, tempts you in secret or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your embrace, or your friend, who is as your own soul saying, "Let us go and worship other gods, which neither you, nor your forefathers have known." Devarim 13:7

44 Of the gods of the peoples around you, whether near to you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; Devarim 13:8

42 You shall not desire him, and you shall not hearken to him; neither shall you pity him, have mercy upon him, nor shield him. Devarim 13:9

40 But you shall surely kill him, your hand shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. Devarim 13:10

48 And you shall stone him with stones so that he dies, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Devarim 13:11

48 And all Israel shall listen and fear, and they shall no longer do any evil such as this in your midst. Devarim 13:12

43 If you hear in one of your cities which the Lord, your God, is giving you to dwell therein, saying, Devarim 13:13

47 "Unfaithful men have gone forth from among you and have led the inhabitants of their city astray, saying, 'Let us go and worship other gods, which you have not known.' " Devarim 13:13

44 Then you shall inquire, investigate, and ask thoroughly, and, behold, it is true, the matter is certain, that such abomination has been committed in your midst: Devarim 13:14

49 You shall surely strike down the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroy it with all that is in it and its livestock, with the edge of the sword. Devarim 13:16

52 And you shall collect all its spoil into the midst of its open square, and burn with fire the city and all its spoil, completely, for the Lord, your God; and it shall be a heap of destruction forever, never to be rebuilt. Devarim 13:17

51 And nothing that is doomed to destruction shall cling to your hand, so that the Lord may return from His fierce wrath, and grant you compassion, and be compassionate with you, and multiply you, as He swore to your forefathers. Devarim 13:18

42 For you shall hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you this day, to do that which is proper in the eyes of the Lord, your God. Devarim 13:19

43 You are children of the Lord, your God. You shall neither cut yourselves nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. Devarim 14:1

43 For you are a holy people to the Lord, your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a treasured people for Him, out of all the nations that are upon the earth. Devarim 14:2

36 You shall not eat any abomination. Devarim 14:3

45 These are the animals that you may eat: ox, lamb, and kid, Devarim 14:4

51 Gazelle, deer, and antelope, ibex, chamois, bison, and giraffe. Devarim 14:5

51 And every animal that has a split hoof and has a hoof cloven into two hoof sections, and chews the cud among the animals that you may eat. Devarim 14:6

58 But you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those that have the split hooves: the cloven one, the camel, the hyrax, and the hare, for they chew the cud, but do not have split hooves; they are unclean for you. Devarim 14:7

43 And the pig, because it has a split hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You shall neither eat of their flesh nor touch their carcass. Devarim 14:8

44 These you may eat of all that are in the waters; all that have fins and scales, you may eat. Devarim 14:9

37 But whatever does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat; it is unclean for you. Devarim 14:10

36 You may eat every clean bird. Devarim 14:11

46 But these are those from which you shall not eat: The eagle or the griffin vulture, the ossifrage, the osprey; Devarim 14:12

38 And the white vulture, and the black vulture, and the kite after its species; Devarim 14:13

41 And every raven after its species; Devarim 14:14

38 And the ostrich, and the owl, and the gull, and the hawk after its species; Devarim 14:15

31 The falcon, and the ibis, and the bat; Devarim 14:16

31 And the pelican, and the magpie, and the cormorant; Devarim 14:17

42 And the stork, and the heron and its species, and the hoopoe, and the atalef. Devarim 14:18

43 And every flying insect is unclean for you; they may not be eaten. Devarim 14:19

49 You may eat any clean fowl. Devarim 14:20

46 You shall not eat any carcass. You may give it to the stranger who is in your cities, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the Lord, your God. You shall not cook a kid in its mother's milk. Devarim 14:21

51 You shall tithe all the seed crop that the field gives forth, year by year. Devarim 14:22

47 And you shall eat before the Lord, your God, in the place He chooses to establish His Name therein, the tithes of your grain, your wine, and your oil, and the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep, so that you may learn to fear the Lord, your God, all the days. Devarim 14:23

42 And if the way be too long for you, that you are unable to carry it, for the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name therein, is too far from you, for the Lord, your God, will bless you Devarim 14:24

41 Then you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and you shall go to the place the Lord, your God, will choose. Devarim 14:25

49 And you shall turn that money into whatever your soul desires; cattle, sheep, new wine or old wine, or whatever your soul desires, and you shall eat there before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. Devarim 14:26

41 And as for the Levite who is in your cities you shall not forsake him, for he has neither portion nor inheritance with you. Devarim 14:27

42 At the end of three years, you shall take out all the tithe of your crop in that year and place it in your cities. Devarim 14:28

43 And the Levite because he has no portion or inheritance with you and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are in your cities, will come and eat and be satisfied; so that the Lord, your God, will bless you in all the work of your hand that you will do. Devarim 14:29

33 At the end of seven years you will make a release. Devarim 15:1

43 And this is the manner of the release; to release the hand of every creditor from what he lent his friend; he shall not exact from his friend or his brother, because time of the release for the Lord has arrived. Devarim 15:2

42 From the foreigner you may exact; but what is yours with your brother, your hand shall release. Devarim 15:3

41 However, there will be no needy among you, for the Lord will surely bless you in the land the Lord, your God, is giving you for an inheritance to possess. Devarim 15:4

52 However, if you hearken to the voice of the Lord, your God, to be careful to do all this commandment, which I am commanding you today. Devarim 15:5

41 For the Lord, your God, has blessed you, as He spoke to you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you. Devarim 15:6

38 If there will be among you a needy person, from one of your brothers in one of your cities, in your land the Lord, your God, is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, and you shall not close your hand from your needy brother. Devarim 15:7

38 Rather, you shall open your hand to him, and you shall lend him sufficient for his needs, which he is lacking. Devarim 15:8

48 Beware, lest there be in your heart an unfaithful thought, saying, "The seventh year, the year of release has approached," and you will begrudge your needy brother and not give him, and he will cry out to the Lord against you, and it will be a sin to you. Devarim 15:9

43 You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him; for because of this thing the Lord, your God, will bless you in all your work and in all your endeavors. Devarim 15:10

45 For there will never cease to be needy within the land. Therefore, I command you, saying, you shall surely open your hand to your brother, to your poor one, and to your needy one in your land. Devarim 15:11

47 And when you send him forth free from you, you shall not send him forth empty-handed. Devarim 15:13

41 You shall surely provide him from your flock, from your threshing floor, and from your vat, you shall give him from what the Lord, your God, has blessed you Devarim 15:14

37 And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord, your God, redeemed you; therefore, I am commanding you this thing today. Devarim 15:15

50 And it will be, if he says to you, "I will not leave you," because he loves you and your household, for it is good for him with you, Devarim 15:16

45 Then you shall take an awl and put it through his ear and into the door, and he shall be a servant to you forever; and also to your maidservant you shall do likewise. Devarim 15:17

52 You shall not be troubled when you send him free from you, for twice as much as a hired servant, he has served you six years, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in all that you shall do. Devarim 15:18

42 Every firstborn male that is born of your cattle or of your flock you shall sanctify to the Lord, your God. You shall neither work with the firstborn of your ox, nor shear the firstborn of your flock. Devarim 15:19

44 You shall eat it before the Lord, your God, year by year, in the place the Lord chooses-you and your household. Devarim 15:20

37 And if there be any blemish in it, whether it be lame, or blind, or any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord, your God. Devarim 15:21

45 You shall eat it within your cities, the unclean and the clean together, as the deer, and as the gazelle. Devarim 15:22

36 However, you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it on the ground, as water. Devarim 15:23

38 Keep the month of spring, and make the Passover offering to the Lord, your God, for in the month of spring, the Lord, your God, brought you out of Egypt at night. Devarim 16:1

46 You shall slaughter the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, your God, [of the] flock, and [the Festival sacrifices of the] cattle, in the place which the Lord will choose to establish His Name therein. Devarim 16:2

45 You shall not eat leaven with it; for seven days you shall eat with it matzoth, the bread of affliction, for in haste you went out of the land of Egypt, so that you shall remember the day when you went out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. Devarim 16:3

47 And no leaven shall be seen with you within all your border for seven days; neither shall any of the flesh you slaughter on the preceding day in the afternoon, remain all night until the morning. Devarim 16:4

39 You shall not sacrifice the Passover offering within any of your cities, which the Lord, your God, is giving you. Devarim 16:5

45 Except at the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name-there you shall slaughter the Passover offering in the afternoon, as the sun sets, at the appointed time that you went out of Egypt. Devarim 16:6

46 And you shall roast it and eat it in the place which the Lord, your God, will choose, and you shall turn away in the morning and go to your dwellings. Devarim 16:7

48 For six days you shall eat matzoth, and on the seventh day there shall be a halt to the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work on it. Devarim 16:8

44 You shall count seven weeks for yourself; from[the time] the sickle is first put to the standing crop, you shall begin to count seven weeks. Devarim 16:9

46 And you shall perform the Festival of Weeks to the Lord, your God, the donation you can afford to give, according to how the Lord, your God, shall bless you. Devarim 16:10

47 And you shall rejoice before the Lord, your God, -you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite who is within your cities, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are among you, in the place which the Lord, your God, will choose to establish His Name therein. Devarim 16:11

36 And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall keep and perform these statutes. Devarim 16:12

49 You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat. Devarim 16:13

43 And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities. Devarim 16:14

44 Seven days you shall celebrate the Festival to the Lord, your God, in the place which the Lord shall choose, because the Lord, your God, will bless you in all your produce, and in all the work of your hands, and you will only be happy. Devarim 16:15

49 Three times in the year, every one of your males shall appear before the Lord, your God, in the place He will choose: on the Festival of Matzoth and on the Festival of Weeks, and on the Festival of Sukkoth, and he shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. Devarim 16:16

50 Every man shall bring as much as he can afford, according to the blessing of the Lord, your God, which He has given you. Devarim 16:17

50 You shall set up judges and law enforcement officials for yourself in all your cities that the Lord, your God, is giving you, for your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. Devarim 16:17

54 You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show favoritism, and you shall not take a bribe, for bribery blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts just words. Devarim 16:19

38 Justice, justice shall you pursue, that you may live and possess the land the Lord, your God, is giving you. Devarim 16:20

37 You shall not plant for yourself an asherah, or any tree, near the altar of the Lord, your God, which you shall make for yourself. Devarim 16:21

43 And you shall not set up for yourself a monument, which the Lord, your God hates. Devarim 16:22

36 You shall not sacrifice to the Lord, your God, an ox or a sheep that has in it a blemish or any bad thing, for that is an abomination to the Lord, your God. Devarim 17:1

48 If there will be found among you, within one of your cities which the Lord, your God is giving you, a man or woman who does evil in the eyes of the Lord, your God, to transgress His covenant, Devarim 17:2

39 And who will go and worship other gods and prostrate himself before them, or to the sun, the moon, or any of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded; Devarim 17:3

46 And it will be told to you, and you will hear it, and investigate thoroughly, and behold, the matter coincides; this abomination has been perpetrated in Israel. Devarim 17:4

48 Then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has committed this evil thing, to your cities, the man or the woman, and you shall pelt them with stones, and they shall die. Devarim 17:5

39 By the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall the one liable to death be put to death; he shall not be put to death by the mouth of one witness. Devarim 17:6

38 The hand of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people, and you shall abolish evil from among you. Devarim 17:7

58 If a matter eludes you in judgment, between blood and blood, between judgment and judgment, or between lesion and lesion, words of dispute in your cities, then you shall rise and go up to the place the Lord, your God, chooses. Devarim 17:8

48 And you shall come to the Levitic kohanim and to the judge who will be in those days, and you shall inquire, and they will tell you the words of judgment. Devarim 17:9

45 And you shall do according to the word they tell you, from the place the Lord will choose, and you shall observe to do according to all they instruct you. Devarim 17:10

49 According to the law they instruct you and according to the judgment they say to you, you shall do; you shall not divert from the word they tell you, either right or left. Devarim 17:11

50 And the man who acts intentionally, not obeying the kohen who stands there to serve the Lord, your God, or to the judge that man shall die, and you shall abolish evil from Israel. Devarim 17:12

37 And all the people shall listen and fear, and they shall no longer act wantonly. Devarim 17:13

49 When you come to the land the Lord, your God, is giving you, and you possess it and live therein, and you say, "I will set a king over myself, like all the nations around me," Devarim 17:14

49 You shall set a king over you, one whom the Lord, your God, chooses; from among your brothers, you shall set a king over yourself; you shall not appoint a foreigner over yourself, one who is not your brother. Devarim 17:15

49 Only, he may not acquire many horses for himself, so that he will not bring the people back to Egypt in order to acquire many horses, for the Lord said to you, "You shall not return that way any more." Devarim 17:16

52 And he shall not take many wives for himself, and his heart must not turn away, and he shall not acquire much silver and gold for himself. Devarim 17:17

49 And it will be, when he sits upon his royal throne, that he shall write for himself two copies of this Torah on a scroll from that Torah which is before the Levitic kohanim. Devarim 17:18

49 And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the Lord, his God, to keep all the words of this Torah and these statutes, to perform them, Devarim 17:19

54 So that his heart will not be haughty over his brothers, and so that he will not turn away from the commandment, either to the right or to the left, in order that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his sons, among Israel. Devarim 17:20

44 The Levitic kohanim, the entire tribe of Levi, shall have no portion or inheritance with Israel; the Lord's fire offerings and His inheritance they shall eat. Devarim 18:1

36 But he shall have no inheritance among his brothers; the Lord is his inheritance, as He spoke to him. Devarim 18:2

47 And this shall be the kohanim's due from the people, from those who perform a slaughter, be it an ox or a sheep, he shall give the kohen the foreleg, the jaws, and the maw. Devarim 18:3

40 The first of your grain, your wine, and your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him. Devarim 18:4

33 For the Lord, your God, has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand and serve in the name of the Lord, he and his sons, all the days. Devarim 18:5

54 And if a Levite comes from one of your cities out of all Israel where he sojourns, he may come whenever his soul desires, to the place the Lord will choose, Devarim 18:6

39 And he may serve in the name of the Lord, his God, just like all his Levite brothers, who stand there before the Lord. Devarim 18:7

46 They shall eat equal portions, except what was sold by the forefathers. Devarim 18:8

40 When you have come to the land the Lord, your God, is giving you, you shall not learn to do like the abominations of those nations. Devarim 18:9

55 There shall not be found among you anyone who passes his son or daughter through fire, a soothsayer, a diviner of auspicious times, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, Devarim 18:10

44 Or a charmer, a pithom sorcerer, a yido'a sorcerer, or a necromancer. Devarim 18:11

38 For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations, the Lord, your God is driving them out from before you. Devarim 18:12

33 Be wholehearted with the Lord, your God. Devarim 18:13

54 For these nations, which you are to possess, hearken to diviners of auspicious times and soothsayers, but as for you, the Lord, your God, has not given you things like these. Devarim 18:14

35 A prophet from among you, from your brothers, like me, the Lord, your God will set up for you; you shall hearken to him. Devarim 18:15

40 According to all that you asked of the Lord, your God, in Horeb, on the day of the assembly, saying, "Let me not continue to hear the voice of the Lord, my God, and let me no longer see this great fire, so that I will not die." Devarim 18:16

36 And the Lord said to me, "They have done well in what they have spoken. Devarim 18:17

40 I will set up a prophet for them from among their brothers like you, and I will put My words into his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him. Devarim 18:18

50 And it will be, that whoever does not hearken to My words that he speaks in My name, I will exact it of him. Devarim 18:19

46 But the prophet who intentionally speaks a word in My name, which I did not command him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die. Devarim 18:20

45 Now if you say to yourself, "How will we know the word that the Lord did not speak?" Devarim 18:21

41 If the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not occur and does not come about, that is the thing the Lord did not speak. The prophet has spoken it wantonly; you shall not be afraid of him. Devarim 18:22

43 When the Lord, your God, cuts off the nations, whose land the Lord, your God, is giving you, and you inherit them, and dwell in their cities and in their houses, Devarim 19:1

34 You shall separate three cities for yourself in the midst of your land, which the Lord, your God, is giving you to possess. Devarim 19:2

48 Prepare the road for yourself and divide into three parts the boundary of your land, which the Lord, your God, is giving you as an inheritance, and it will be for every killer to flee there. Devarim 19:3

53 And this is the case of the killer who will flee there, so that he may live: Whoever strikes his fellow to death unintentionally, whom he did not hate in times past. Devarim 19:4

46 As when a man goes with his fellow into the forest to chop wood, and his hand swings the ax to cut down the tree, and the iron flies off the handle, and it reaches his fellow, and he dies he shall flee to one of these cities, and live. Devarim 19:5

52 Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the killer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and he strikes him to death, whereas he was not deserving of death, for he had not hated him in times past. Devarim 19:6

35 Therefore, I command you, saying, "You shall separate for yourself three cities." Devarim 19:7

49 And when the Lord, your God, expands your boundary, as He swore to your forefathers, and He gives you all the land of which He spoke to give to your forefathers; Devarim 19:8

53 If you will keep all this commandment to perform it, which I command you this day, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in His ways all the days, you shall add three more cities for yourself, in addition to these three, Devarim 19:9

52 So that innocent blood will not be shed in the midst of your land which the Lord, your God, gives you for an inheritance which would deem you guilty of [having shed this] blood. Devarim 19:10

51 But if a man hates his fellow, lies in wait for him, rises up against him, and strikes him mortally, and he flees to one of these cities, Devarim 19:11

41 The elders of his city shall send and take him from there and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of the blood, that he may die. Devarim 19:12

44 And you shall not pity him, but you shall abolish [the shedding of] the blood of the innocent from Israel, and it will be good for you. Devarim 19:13

77 You shall not pull back your neighbor's landmark, which the earlier ones have set as borders in your inheritance, which you will inherit in the land that the Lord, your God gives you, to possess. Devarim 19:14

45 One witness shall not rise up against any person for any iniquity or for any sin, regarding any sin that he will sin. By the mouth of two witnesses, or by the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be confirmed. Devarim 19:15

43 If a false witness rises up against a man, to bear perverted testimony against him, Devarim 19:16

44 Then the two men between whom the controversy exists shall stand before the Lord, before the kohanim and the judges who will be in those days. Devarim 19:17

45 And the judges shall inquire thoroughly, and behold, the witness is a false witness; he has testified falsely against his brother; Devarim 19:18

40 Then you shall do to him as he plotted to do to his brother, and you shall [thus] abolish evil from among you. Devarim 19:19

37 And those who remain shall listen and fear, and they shall no longer continue to commit any such evil thing among you. Devarim 19:20

41 You shall not have pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. Devarim 19:21

42 When you go out to war against your enemies, and you see horse and chariot, a people more numerous than you, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord, your God is with you Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Devarim 20:1

38 And it will be, when you approach the battle, that the kohen shall come near, and speak to the people. Devarim 20:2

51 And he shall say to them, "Hear, O Israel, today you are approaching the battle against your enemies. Let your hearts not be faint; you shall not be afraid, and you shall not be alarmed, and you shall not be terrified because of them. Devarim 20:3

37 For the Lord, your God, is the One Who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Devarim 20:4

50 And the officers shall speak to the people, saying, What man is there who has built a new house and has not [yet] inaugurated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war, and another man inaugurate it. Devarim 20:5

52 And what man is there who has planted a vineyard, and has not [yet] redeemed it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war, and another man redeem it. Devarim 20:6

41 And what man is there who has betrothed a woman and has not [yet] taken her? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war, and another man take her." Devarim 20:7

46 And the officers shall continue to speak to the people and say, "What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, that he should not cause the heart of his brothers to melt, as his heart." Devarim 20:8

37 And it shall be, that when the officials finish speaking to the people, they shall appoint officers of the legions at the edges of the people. Devarim 20:9

35 When you approach a city to wage war against it, you shall propose peace to it. Devarim 20:10

44 And it will be, if it responds to you with peace, and it opens up to you, then it will be, [that] all the people found therein shall become tributary to you, and they shall serve you. Devarim 20:11

39 But if it does not make peace with you, and it wages war against you, you shall besiege it, Devarim 20:12

50 And the Lord, your God, will deliver it into your hands, and you shall strike all its males with the edge of the sword. Devarim 20:13

45 However, the women, the children, and the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoils you shall take for yourself, and you shall eat the spoils of your enemies, which the Lord, your God, has given you. Devarim 20:14

36 Thus you shall do to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations. Devarim 20:15

51 However, of these peoples' cities, which the Lord, your God, gives you as an inheritance, you shall not allow any soul to live. Devarim 20:16

46 Rather, you shall utterly destroy them: The Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivvites, and the Jebusites, as the Lord, your God, has commanded you. Devarim 20:17

40 So that they should not teach you to act according to all their abominations that they have done for their gods, whereby you would sin against the Lord, your God. Devarim 20:18

48 When you besiege a city for many days to wage war against it to capture it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them, for you may eat from them, but you shall not cut them down. Is the tree of the field a man, to go into the siege before you? Devarim 20:19

49 However, a tree you know is not a food tree, you may destroy and cut down, and you shall build bulwarks against the city that makes war with you, until its submission. Devarim 20:20

34 If a slain person be found in the land which the Lord, your God is giving you to possess, lying in the field, and it is not known who slew him, Devarim 21:1

39 Then your elders and judges shall go forth, and they shall measure to the cities around the corpse. Devarim 21:2

52 And it will be, that from the city closer to the corpse, the elders of that city shall take a calf with which work has never been done, and that has never drawn a yoke, Devarim 21:3

42 And the elders of that city shall bring the calf down to a rugged valley, which was neither tilled nor sown, and there in the valley, they shall decapitate the calf. Devarim 21:4

45 And the kohanim, the sons of Levi, shall approach, for the Lord, your God, has chosen them to serve Him and to bless in the Name of the Lord, and by their mouth shall every controversy and every lesion be judged. Devarim 21:5

54 And all the elders of that city, who are the nearest to the corpse, shall wash their hands over the calf that was decapitated in the valley; Devarim 21:6

40 And they shall announce and say, "Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see this crime." Devarim 21:7

50 "Atone for Your people Israel, whom You have redeemed, O Lord, and lay not the guilt of innocent blood among your people Israel." And so the blood shall be atoned for them. Devarim 21:8

38 And you shall abolish the shedding of innocent blood from among you, for you shall do what is proper in the eyes of the Lord. Devarim 21:9

42 If you go out to war against your enemies, and the Lord, your God, will deliver him into your hands, and you take his captives, Devarim 21:10

42 And you see among the captives a beautiful woman and you desire her, you may take [her] for yourself as a wife. Devarim 21:11

43 You shall bring her into your home, and she shall shave her head and let her nails grow. Devarim 21:12

57 And she shall remove the garment of her captivity from upon herself, and stay in your house, and weep for her father and her mother for a full month. After that, you may be intimate with her and possess her, and she will be a wife for you. Devarim 21:13

42 And it will be, if you do not desire her, then you shall send her away wherever she wishes, but you shall not sell her for money. You shall not keep her as a servant, because you have afflicted her. Devarim 21:14

45 If a man has two wives-one beloved and the other despised-and they bear him sons, the beloved one and the despised one, and the firstborn son is from the despised one. Devarim 21:15

53 Then it will be, on the day he [the husband] bequeaths his property to his sons, that he will not be able to give the son of the beloved [wife] birthright precedence over the son of the despised [wife]-the [real] firstborn son. Devarim 21:16

48 Rather, he must acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the despised [wife] and give him a double share in all that he possesses, because he [this firstborn son] is the first of his strength, then he has the birthright entitlement. Devarim 21:17

48 If a man has a wayward and rebellious son, who does not obey his father or his mother, and they chasten him, and he still does not listen to them, Devarim 21:18

39 His father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, and to the gate of his place. Devarim 21:19

46 And they shall say to the elders of his city, "This son of ours is wayward and rebellious; he does not obey us; he is a glutton and a guzzler." Devarim 21:20

40 And all the men of his city shall pelt him to death with stones, and he shall die. So shall you clear out the evil from among you, and all Israel will listen and fear. Devarim 21:21

39 If a man commits a sin for which he is sentenced to death, and he is put to death, you shall [then] hang him on a pole. Devarim 21:22

49 But you shall not leave his body on the pole overnight. Rather, you shall bury him on that [same] day, for a hanging [human corpse] is a blasphemy of God, and you shall not defile your land, which the Lord, your God, is giving you as an inheritance. Devarim 21:23

35 You shall not see your brother's ox or sheep straying, and ignore them. Rather, you shall return them to your brother. Devarim 22:1

43 But if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, you shall bring it into your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it out, whereupon you shall return it to him. Devarim 22:2

34 So shall you do with his donkey, and so shall you do with his garment, and so shall you do with any lost article of your brother which he has lost and you have found. You shall not ignore it. Devarim 22:3

38 You shall not see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen under its load on the road, and ignore them. Rather, you shall pick up the load with him. Devarim 22:4

38 A man's attire shall not be on a woman, nor may a man wear a woman's garment because whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord, your God. Devarim 22:5

44 If a bird's nest chances before you on the road, on any tree, or on the ground, and it contains fledglings or eggs, if the mother is sitting upon the fledglings or upon the eggs, you shall not take the mother upon the young. Devarim 22:6

48 You shall send away the mother, and then you may take the young for yourself, in order that it should be good for you, and you should lengthen your days. Devarim 22:7

48 When you build a new house, you shall make a guard rail for your roof, so that you shall not cause blood [to be spilled] in your house, that the one who falls should fall from it the roof. Devarim 22:8

49 You shall not sow your vineyard together with a mixed variety of species, lest the increase, even the seed that you sow and the yield of the vineyard both become forbidden. Devarim 22:9

45 You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. Devarim 22:10

40 You shall not wear a mixture of wool and linen together. Devarim 22:11

40 You shall make yourself twisted threads, on the four corners of your garment with which you cover yourself. Devarim 22:12

41 If a man takes a wife, is intimate with her and despises her, Devarim 22:13

54 And he makes libelous charges against her and gives her a bad name, saying, "I took this woman, and when I came to her, I did not find any evidence of virginity for her." Devarim 22:14

42 Then the girl's father and her mother shall obtain evidence of the girl's virginity, and take it out to the elders of the city, to the gate. Devarim 22:15

35 And the girl's father shall say to the elders, "I gave my daughter to this man as a wife, and he despised her; Devarim 22:16

50 And behold, he made libelous charges, saying, 'I did not find evidence of your daughter's virginity.' But this is the evidence of my daughter's virginity!' And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city. Devarim 22:17

37 Then, the elders of that city shall take the man and chasten him. Devarim 22:18

50 And they shall fine him one hundred [shekels of] silver because he defamed a virgin of Israel, and he give it to the girl's father. And she shall be his wife; he shall not send her away all the days of his life. Devarim 22:19

37 But if this matter was true: [indeed,] no evidence of the girl's virginity was found Devarim 22:20

56 They shall take the girl out to the entrance of her father's house, and the men of her city shall pelt her with stones, and she shall die, for she did a disgraceful thing in Israel, to commit adultery in her father's house. So shall you clear away the evil from among you. Devarim 22:21

44 If a man is found lying with a married woman, even both of them shall die the man lying with the woman and the woman. So shall you clear away the evil from Israel. Devarim 22:22

47 If there is a virgin girl betrothed to a man, and another man finds her in the city, and lies with her, Devarim 22:23

51 You shall take them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall pelt them with stones, and they shall die: the girl, because she did not cry out even though she was in the city, and the man, because he violated his neighbor's wife. So shall you clear away the evil from among you. Devarim 22:24

46 But if a man finds the betrothed girl in the field, and the man overpowers her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die. Devarim 22:25

53 Whereas to the girl, you shall do nothing the girl did not commit a sin deserving of death, for just as a man rises up against his fellow and murders him, so is this case. Devarim 22:26

40 Because he found her in the field. The betrothed girl had cried out, but there was no one to save her. Devarim 22:27

48 If a man finds a virgin girl who was not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, Devarim 22:28

56 The man who lay with her shall give fifty shekels of silver to the girl's father, and she shall become his wife, because he violated her. He shall not send her away all the days of his life. Devarim 22:29

34 A man shall not take his father's wife, nor shall he uncover the corner of his father's cloak. Devarim 23:1

40 A man with injured testicles or whose member is cut, may not enter the assembly of the Lord. Devarim 23:2

31 A bastard shall not enter the assembly of the Lord; even the tenth generation shall not enter the assembly of the Lord. Devarim 23:3

37 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter the assembly of the Lord; even the tenth generation shall never enter the assembly of the Lord. Devarim 23:4

62 Because they did not greet you with bread and water on the way, when you left Egypt, and because he [the people of Moab] hired Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor in Aram Naharaim against you, to curse you. Devarim 23:5

50 But the Lord, your God, did not want to listen to Balaam. So the Lord, your God, transformed the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord, your God, loves you. Devarim 23:6

45 You shall not ever seek out their welfare or their good, all your days. Devarim 23:7

39 You shall not despise an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not despise an Egyptian, for you were a sojourner in his land. Devarim 23:8

41 Children who are born to them in the third generation may enter the assembly of the Lord. Devarim 23:9

38 When a camp goes out against your enemies, you shall beware of everything evil. Devarim 23:10

47 If there is among you a man who is unclean because of a nocturnal emission, he shall go outside the camp. He shall not come within the camp. Devarim 23:11

40 And it shall be, towards evening, he shall bathe in water, and when the sun sets, he may come within the camp. Devarim 23:12

49 And you shall have a designated place outside the camp, so that you can go out there to use it as a privy. Devarim 23:13

45 And you shall keep a stake in addition to your weapons; and it shall be, when you sit down outside to relieve yourself, you shall dig with it, and you shall return and cover your excrement. Devarim 23:14

49 For the Lord, your God, goes along in the midst of your camp, to rescue you and to deliver your enemies before you. Therefore, your camp shall be holy, so that He should not see anything unseemly among you and would turn away from you. Devarim 23:15

30 You shall not deliver a slave to his master if he seeks refuge with you from his master. Devarim 23:16

55 Rather, he shall be allowed to reside among you, wherever he chooses within any of your cities, where it is good for him. You shall not oppress him. Devarim 23:17

38 There shall not be a prostitute of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be a male prostitute of the sons of Israel. Devarim 23:18

48 You shall not bring a prostitute's fee or the price of a dog, to the House of the Lord, your God, for any vow, because both of them are an abomination to the Lord, your God. Devarim 23:19

37 You shall not give interest to your brother, whether it be interest on money, interest on food or interest on any other item for which interest is normally taken. Devarim 23:20

44 You may however, give interest to a gentile, but to your brother you shall not give interest, in order that the Lord, your God, shall bless you in every one of your endeavors on the land to which you are coming to possess. Devarim 23:21

48 When you make a vow to the Lord, your God, you shall not delay in paying it, for the Lord, your God, will demand it of you, and it will be counted as a sin for you. Devarim 23:22

36 But if you shall refrain from making vows, you will have no sin. Devarim 23:23

45 Observe and do what is emitted from your lips just as you have pledged to the Lord, your God, as a donation, which you have spoken with your mouth. Devarim 23:24

41 When you enter your neighbor's vineyard, you may eat as many grapes as you desire, until you are sated, but you shall not put any into your vessel. Devarim 23:25

43 When you enter your neighbor's standing grain, you may pick the ears with your hand, but you shall not lift a sickle upon your neighbor's standing grain. Devarim 23:26

51 When a man takes a wife and is intimate with her, and it happens that she does not find favor in his eyes because he discovers in her an unseemly moral matter, and he writes for her a bill of divorce and places it into her hand, and sends her away from his house, Devarim 24:1

39 And she leaves his house and goes and marries another man, Devarim 24:2

58 If the latter husband hates her and writes her a bill of divorce, and places it into her hand and sends her away from his house, or if the latter husband who took her as a wife, dies Devarim 24:3

44 Her first husband, who had sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, since she was defiled [to him], for that is an abomination before the Lord, and you shall not bring sin to the land the Lord, your God, gives you for an inheritance. Devarim 24:4

48 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, nor shall he be subjected to anything associated with it. He shall remain free for his home for one year and delight his wife, whom he has taken. Devarim 24:5

44 One shall not take the lower or the upper millstone as security for a loan, because he is taking a life as security. Devarim 24:6

42 If a man is discovered kidnapping any person from among his brothers, of the children of Israel, and treats him as a slave and sells him that thief shall die, so that you shall clear out the evil from among you. Devarim 24:7

44 Be cautious regarding the lesion of tzara'ath, to observe meticulously and you shall do according to all that the Levite priests instruct you; as I have commanded them, so shall you observe to do. Devarim 24:8

46 Remember what the Lord, your God, did to Miriam on the way, when you went out of Egypt. Devarim 24:9

47 When you lend your fellow Jew any item, you shall not enter his home to take his security. Devarim 24:10

39 You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you are extending the loan shall bring the security to you outside. Devarim 24:11

35 And if he is a poor man, you shall not lie down to sleep with his security. Devarim 24:12

47 You shall return the security to him by sunset, so that he may lie down to sleep in his garment, and he will bless you, and it will be counted for you as merit before the Lord, your God. Devarim 24:13

49 You shall not withhold the wages of a poor or destitute hired worker, of your brothers or of your strangers who are in your land within your cities. Devarim 24:14

40 You shall give him his wage on his day and not let the sun set over it, for he is poor, and he risks his life for it, so that he should not cry out to the Lord against you, so that there should be sin upon you. Devarim 24:15

41 Fathers shall not be put to death because of sons, nor shall sons be put to death because of fathers; each man shall be put to death for his own transgression. Devarim 24:16

43 You shall not pervert the judgment of a stranger or an orphan, and you shall not take a widow's garment as security for a loan. Devarim 24:17

36 You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and the Lord, your God, redeemed you from there; therefore, I command you to do this thing. Devarim 24:18

45 When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to take it; it shall be left for the stranger, the orphan, and the widow, so that the Lord, your God, will bless you in all that you do. Devarim 24:19

48 When you beat your olive tree, you shall not deglorify it by picking all its fruit after you; it shall be left for the stranger, the orphan and the widow. Devarim 24:20

41 When you pick the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean after you: it shall be left for the stranger, the orphan and the widow. Devarim 24:21

40 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt: therefore, I command you to do this thing. Devarim 24:22

48 If there is a quarrel between men, and they approach the tribunal, and they [the judges] judge them, and they acquit the innocent one and condemn the guilty one Devarim 25:1

44 and it shall be, if the guilty one has incurred [the penalty of] lashes, that the judge shall make him lean over and flog him in front of him, commensurate with his crime, in number. Devarim 25:2

51 He shall flog him with forty lashes; he shall not exceed, lest he give him a much more severe flogging than these forty lashes, and your brother will be degraded before your eyes. Devarim 25:3

33 You shall not muzzle an ox when it is threshing the grain. Devarim 25:4

50 If brothers reside together, and one of them dies having no son, the dead man's wife shall not marry an outsider. Rather, her husband's brother shall be intimate with her, making her a wife for himself, thus performing the obligation of a husband's brother with her. Devarim 25:5

46 And it will be, that the eldest brother who performs the levirate marriage, if she can bear will succeed in the name of his deceased brother, so that his the deceased brother's name shall not be obliterated from Israel. Devarim 25:6

48 But if the man does not wish to take his brother's wife, the brother's wife shall go up to the gate, to the elders, and say, "My husband's brother has refused to perpetuate his brother's name in Israel he does not wish to perform the obligation of a husband's brother with me." Devarim 25:7

35 Then the elders of his city shall call him and speak to him, and he shall stand up and say, "I do not wish to take her." Devarim 25:8

33 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross to the other side of the sea for us and fetch it for us, to tell it to us, so that we can fulfill it?" Devarim 30:13

31 Rather, this thing is very close to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can fulfill it. Devarim 30:14

32 Behold, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil, Devarim 30:15

52 Inasmuch as I command you this day to love the Lord, your God, to walk in His ways, and to observe His commandments, His statutes, and His ordinances, so that you will live and increase, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land to which you are coming to take possession of it. Devarim 30:16

34 But if your heart deviates and you do not listen, and you will be drawn astray, and you will prostrate yourself to other deities and serve them, Devarim 30:17

40 I declare to you this day, that you will surely perish, and that you will not live long days on the land, to which you are crossing the Jordan, to come and take possession thereof. Devarim 30:18

41 This day, I call upon the heaven and the earth as witnesses that I have warned you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. You shall choose life, so that you and your offspring will live; Devarim 30:19

49 To love the Lord your God, to listen to His voice, and to cleave to Him. For that is your life and the length of your days, to dwell on the land which the Lord swore to your forefathers to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob to give to them. Devarim 30:20

47 And Moses went, and he spoke the following words to all Israel. Devarim 31:1

32 He said to them, "Today I am one hundred and twenty years old. I can no longer go or come, and the Lord said to me, "You shall not cross this Jordan." Devarim 31:2

27 The Lord, your God He will cross before you; He will destroy these nations from before you so that you will possess them. Joshua he will cross before you, as the Lord has spoken. Devarim 32:3

35 And the Lord will do to them, as He did to the Amorite kings, Sihon and Og, and to their land, all of which He destroyed. Devarim 32:4

33 And when the Lord delivers them before you, you shall do to them according to all the commandment that I have commanded you. Devarim 31:5

47 Be strong and courageous! Neither fear, nor be dismayed of them, for the Lord, your God He is the One Who goes with you. He will neither fail you, nor forsake you. Devarim 31:6

49 And Moses called Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, Be strong and courageous! For you shall come with this people to the land which the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them. And you shall apportion it to them as an inheritance. Devarim 31:7

31 The Lord He is the One Who goes before you; He will be with you; He will neither fail you, nor forsake you. Do not fear, and do not be dismayed." Devarim 31:8

45 Then Moses wrote this Torah, and gave it to the priests, the descendants of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel. Devarim 31:9

41 Then, Moses commanded them, saying, "At the end of every seven years, at an appointed time, in the Festival of Succoth, after the year of release, Devarim 31:10

38 When all Israel comes to appear before the Lord, your God, in the place He will choose, you shall read this Torah before all Israel, in their ears. Devarim 31:11

38 Assemble the people: the men, the women, and the children, and your stranger in your cities, in order that they hear, and in order that they learn and fear the Lord, your God, and they will observe to do all the words of this Torah. Devarim 31:12

38 And their children, who did not know, will hear and learn to fear the Lord, your God, all the days that you live on the land, to which you are crossing the Jordan, to possess. Devarim 31:13

52 And the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, your days are approaching for you to die. Call Joshua and stand in the Tent of Meeting, and I will inspire him. So Moses and Joshua went, and stood in the Tent of Meeting. Devarim 31:14

31 And the Lord appeared in the Tent, in a pillar of cloud. The pillar of cloud stood at the entrance to the Tent. Devarim 31:15

52 And the Lord said to Moses: Behold, you are about to lie with your forefathers, and this nation will rise up and stray after the deities of the nations of the land, into which they are coming. And they will forsake Me and violate My covenant which I made with them. Devarim 31:16

46 And My fury will rage against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will befall them, and they will say on that day, 'Is it not because our God is no longer among us, that these evils have befallen us?' Devarim 31:17

30 And I will hide My face on that day, because of all the evil they have committed, when they turned to other deities. Devarim 31:18

41 And now, write for yourselves this song, and teach it to the Children of Israel. Place it into their mouths, in order that this song will be for Me as a witness for the children of Israel. Devarim 31:19

41 When I bring them to the land which I have sworn to their forefathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey, they will eat and be satisfied, and live on the fat of the land. Then, they will turn to other deities and serve them, provoking Me and violating My covenant. Devarim 31:20

39 And it will be, when they will encounter many evils and troubles, this song will bear witness against them, for it will not be forgotten from the mouth of their offspring. For I know their inclination what they [are planning] to do today, even before I bring them in to the land which I have sworn to give them." Devarim 31:21

34 And Moses wrote this song on that day, and taught it to the children of Israel. Devarim 31:22

40 And He commanded Joshua the son of Nun, and said: "Be strong and courageous! For you shall bring the children of Israel to the land that I have sworn to them, and I will be with you." Devarim 31:23

38 And it was, when Moses finished writing the words of this Torah in a scroll, until their very completion, Devarim 31:24

34 That Moses commanded the Levites, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: Devarim 31:25

39 "Take this Torah scroll and place it along side the ark of covenant of the Lord, your God, and it will be there as a witness. Devarim 31:26

37 For I know your rebellious spirit and your stubbornness. Even while I am alive with you today you are rebelling against the Lord, and surely after my death! Devarim 31:27

41 Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, and I will speak these words into their ears, and I will call upon the heaven and the earth as witnesses against them. Devarim 31:28

45 For I know that after my death, you will surely become corrupted, and deviate from the way which I had commanded you. Consequently, the evil will befall you at the end of days, because you did evil in the eyes of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands. Devarim 31:29

48 Then, Moses spoke into the ears of the entire assembly of Israel the words of the following song, until their completion. Devarim 31:30

32 Listen, O heavens, and I will speak! And let the earth hear the words of my mouth! Devarim 32:1

48 My lesson will drip like rain; my word will flow like dew; like storm winds on vegetation and like raindrops on grass. Devarim 32:2

25 When I call out the name of the Lord, ascribe greatness to our God. Devarim 32:3

42 The deeds of the Mighty Rock are perfect, for all His ways are just; a faithful God, without injustice He is righteous and upright. Devarim 32:4

37 Destruction is not His; it is His children's defect you crooked and twisted generation. Devarim 32:5

31 Is this how you repay the Lord, you disgraceful, unwise people?! Is He not your Father, your Master? He has made you and established you. Devarim 32:6

34 Remember the days of old; reflect upon the years of other generations. Ask your father, and he will tell you; your elders, and they will inform you. Devarim 32:7

45 When the Most High gave nations their lot, when He separated the sons of man, He set up the boundaries of peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. Devarim 32:8

57 Because the Lord's portion is His people Jacob, the lot of His inheritance. Devarim 32:9

40 He found them in a desert land, and in a desolate, howling wasteland. He encompassed them and bestowed understanding upon them; He protected them as the pupil of His eye. Devarim 32:10

41 As an eagle awakens its nest, hovering over its fledglings, it spreads its wings, taking them and carrying them on its pinions. Devarim 32:11

49 So the Lord guided them alone, and there was no alien deity with Him. Devarim 32:12

45 He made them ride upon the high places of the earth, that they would eat the produce of the field. He let them suck honey from a rock, and oil from the mighty part of the crag. Devarim 32:13

60 The cream of cattle and the milk of sheep, with the fat of lambs and rams of Bashan and he goats, with kidneys of wheat, and it the congregation of Israel would drink the blood of grapes which was as the finest wine. Devarim 32:14

52 And Jeshurun became fat and rebelled; you grew fat, thick and rotund; [Israel] forsook the God Who made them, and spurned the [Mighty] Rock of their salvation. Devarim 32:15

40 They provoked His zeal with alien worship; they made Him angry with abominations deeds. Devarim 32:16

46 They sacrificed to demons, which have no power, deities they did not know, new things that only recently came, which your forefathers did not fear. Devarim 32:17

38 You forgot the Mighty Rock Who bore you; you forgot the God Who delivered you. Devarim 32:18

36 And the Lord saw this and became angry, provoked by His sons and daughters. Devarim 32:19

49 And He said, "I will hide My face from them. I will see what their end will be, for they are a generation of changes; they are not recognizable as My children whom I have reared. Devarim 32:20

46 They have provoked My jealousy with a non god, provoked My anger with their vanities. Thus, I will provoke their jealousy with a non people, provoke their anger with a foolish nation. Devarim 32:21

47 For a fire blazed in My wrath, and burned to the lowest depths. It consumed the land and its produce, setting aflame the foundations of mountains. Devarim 32:22

29 I will link evils upon them. I will use up My arrows on them. Devarim 32:23

43 They will sprout hair from famine, attacked by demons, excised by Meriri. I will incite the teeth of livestock upon them, with the venom of creatures that slither in the dust. Devarim 32:24

50 From outside, the sword will bereave, and terror from within; young men and maidens, suckling babes with venerable elders. Devarim 32:25

30 I said that I would make an end of them, eradicate their remembrance from mankind. Devarim 32:26

44 Were it not that the enemy's wrath was heaped up, lest their adversaries distort; lest they claim, "Our hand was triumphant! The Lord did none of this!" Devarim 32:27

32 For they are a nation devoid of counsel, and they have no understanding. Devarim 32:28

27 If they were wise, they would understand this; they would reflect upon their fate. Devarim 32:29

42 How can one person pursue a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Mighty Rock has sold them out, and the Lord has given them over? Devarim 32:30

39 For their rock is not like our Mighty Rock. Nevertheless, our enemies sit in judgment. Devarim 32:31

41 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the field of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of rosh, and they have bitter clusters. Devarim 32:32

34 Their wine is the bitterness of serpents, and the bitterness of the ruthless cobras. Devarim 32:33

35 Is it not stored up with Me, sealed up in My treasuries? Devarim 32:34

41 Vengeance is poised with Me, and it will pay at the time their foot stumbles. For the appointed day of their reckoning is near, and what is destined for them hastens. Devarim 32:35

47 When the Lord will judge His people, and will reconsider His servants, when He sees that the power is increasing, and none is controlled or strengthened. Devarim 32:36

35 Then He will say, "Where is their deity, the rock in which they trusted, Devarim 32:37

36 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their libations? Let them arise and help you! Let them be your shelter! Devarim 32:38

39 See now that it is I! I am the One, and there is no god like Me! I cause death and grant life. I strike, but I heal, and no one can rescue from My Hand! Devarim 32:39

33 For I raise up My hand to heaven, and say, 'As I live forever.' Devarim 32:40

48 When I sharpen the blade of My sword, and My hand grasps judgment, I will bring vengeance upon My adversaries and repay those who hate Me. Devarim 32:41

48 I will intoxicate My arrows with blood, and My sword will consume flesh, from the blood of the slain and the captives, from the first breach of the enemy.' Devarim 32:42

47 Sing out praise, O you nations, for His people! For He will avenge the blood of His servants, inflict revenge upon His adversaries, and appease His land [and] His people. Devarim 32:43

52 And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song into the ears of the people he and Hoshea the son of Nun. Devarim 32:44

49 And Moses finished speaking all these words to all Israel. Devarim 32:45

44 And he said to them, Set your hearts to all of the words which I bear witness for you this day, so that you may command your children to observe to do all the words of this Torah. Devarim 32:46

38 For it is not an empty thing for you, for it is your life, and through this thing, you will lengthen your days upon the land to which you are crossing over the Jordan, to possess it." Devarim 32:47

35 And the Lord spoke to Moses on that very day, saying, Devarim 32:48

50 Go up this Mount Avarim to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is facing Jericho, and see the Land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel as a possession, Devarim 32:49

42 And die on the mountain upon which you are climbing and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people. Devarim 32:50

40 Because you betrayed Me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Merivath Kadesh, in the desert of Zin, and because you did not sanctify Me in the midst of the children of Israel. Devarim 32:51

34 For from afar, you will see the land, but you will not come there, to the land I am giving the children of Israel. Devarim 32:52

40 And this is the blessing with which Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel just before his death. Devarim 33:1
